I obtained my MFA in printmaking from the San Francisco Art Institute, and since have been engaged in painting, printmaking and photography.
I have had solo shows in the bay area and in France, as well as participating in group shows. Recent shows were at the Dance Palace in Pt. Reyes Station and First Valley Inverness Gallery. Now in an exhibit at Gallery Route One, Point Reyes Station .
Although I have worked in other mediums, I am currently most active in three methods of making art: aquatint etching, photopolymer gravure, and transfer painting. All are a form of printmaking, but each has its own technique and aspect.
Hiking and photographing in West Marin has led me to explore the trees and the forest environment surrounding our home. Trees have unique forms and "personalities" which allow for a wide variety of imagery. The possibilities are endless.
